Research Infrastructure Investments from the Research Development Fund that were awarded for Fall 2017
The sixth call for applications resulted in a record 20 applications being submitted October 23, 2017, that requested a total amount over $26 million.
Applications were reviewed by the RDF-Advisory Committee (AC) who submitted recommendations for consideration by the Management Committee.
After discussion, RDF funds were awarded to four applications to improve research infrastructure resources. Below are the Fall 2017 RDF applications awarded:
- Enabling Technologies for Advanced Biofabrication
- Enhancing Access to NMR Spectroscopy
- Integration, Coordination and Upgrade of Optical Microscopy Resources in TAMU Shared-use Microscopy Facilities: The Image Analysis Laboratory (IAL) and Microscopy and Imaging Center (MIC)
- Interdisciplinary Advanced Robotics Facility
