2018 Fall Funded Applications

Research Infrastructure Investments from the Research Development Fund that were awarded for Fall 2018

The Fall 2018 call for applications resulted in fourteen applications being submitted totaling over $20 million requested.

Applications were reviewed by the RDF-Advisory Committee (AC) who submitted recommendations for consideration by the Management Committee.

After discussion, three applications were considered for funding to improve research infrastructure resources at Texas A&M University.

Below are the Fall 2018 RDF applications awarded:

• A PREcision genomics Core to advance Innovative Systems bioengineering (partially funded) 
• Robotics and Biophotonics Enabled Plant and Pathogen Phenotyping (partially funded) 
• The Global Health Research Complex (GHRC): Interdisciplinary Core for the Study of High Consequence and Vector Borne Diseases
