Research Infrastructure Investments from the Research Development Fund that were awarded for Fall 2022.
The fall 2022 call for applications resulted in sixteen (16) applications being submitted totaling over $6.4 million requested. Applications were reviewed by the Research Development Fund Advisory Committee (AC) who submitted recommendations for consideration by the Research Development Fund Management Committee. After discussions, four applications were considered for funding to improve research infrastructure resources at Texas A&M University totaling more than $4.3 million.
Below are the fall 2022 RDF applications awarded:
- Bringing cell sorting at Texas A&M to the next level: acquisition of next generation cell sorters for the TAMU Intercollegiate Cell Analysis Facilities (TICAF)
- New High-Energy X-ray Diffractometer
- The acquisition of an aerosol production unit on the current Whole-Body Inhalation Chamber
- Upgrade of the Transmission Electron Microscopy in the Microscopy and Imaging Center (MIC)
